DMIT FAQ
Everything about the science, process, and results — answered with complete transparency.
Validity & Research
Is DMIT scientifically validated?
Yes. Dermatoglyphics has been studied for over 200 years. The connection between fingerprint ridge patterns and neural development is documented in peer-reviewed neuroscience and genetics research. Modern DMIT instruments are validated across thousands of subjects internationally.
How is DMIT different from MBTI or DISC?
Personality tests measure how you feel and behave today — which shifts with mood, stress, and experience. DMIT measures your inborn neural architecture based on fingerprints that formed in the womb and will never change. It is a biological constant, not a snapshot in time.
What is the accuracy of DMIT?
Validated DMIT providers report accuracy rates above 95% for intelligence profiling. We treat DMIT as a highly accurate baseline — not an absolute verdict. Every report is contextualised through a personal counsellor debrief session.
What to Expect
How long does a DMIT assessment take?
The fingerprint scan takes 3–5 minutes. Report generation: 24–48 hours. The counsellor debrief session: 45–60 minutes.
Is the fingerprint scan safe?
Completely non-invasive. Optical light only — no ink, no chemicals, no pressure. Safe for all ages from 2 years onwards.
Can DMIT be done online?
The fingerprint capture requires a physical scanner. In-person sessions are available at our Chennai centre. For outstation clients we offer a portable scanning kit — you scan at home and return it before report generation.
At what age can DMIT be done?
From age 2 onwards. Early assessment gives more time to nurture dominant intelligences. Adults at any age derive significant value — career clarity and self-understanding have no expiry date.
How is the report delivered?
Digital PDF (20–30 pages) via email, followed by a one-on-one counsellor debrief conducted online or in-person.
Understanding Your Report
What does the DMIT report include?
Dominant and secondary intelligences, learning style (VAK), brain lobe dominance (left/right/whole), thinking pattern, AQ/EQ/CQ profiling, recommended career clusters, subject-wise aptitude, and a personalised development roadmap.
Can results change over time?
Your fingerprints — and therefore your inborn intelligence profile — do not change. How you develop those intelligences through education and experience does change. The report is a permanent baseline; your growth builds on top of it.
What if my results don’t match my current career?
This is one of the most common — and valuable — outcomes. Many adults discover a mismatch between their natural wiring and their current work. The counsellor debrief is designed to navigate this: whether that means pivoting, adapting, or simply understanding why the friction exists.
